I posted an idea the other day in response to an article about 150 partyers charged with drug offences.

Listen Out music festival: Over 150 partyers charged with drug offences
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-09-30/listen-out-music-festival-over-150-caught-with-drugs/10322822

The idea is to create an amnesty area at rock concerts to allow people to dump their drugs with no questions asked.

Only applies to people with small amounts for possession.

They have a choice of whether to dump their drugs safely in a drug bin or risk being charged.

At the concert, Five people were charged with supplying drugs.

154 were charged with drug possession.

34,000 festival-goers.

It would free up more police time to deal with drug dealers in crowds.

Promotes drug minimization.

Promotes a healthier choice.

We have had rock concerts since the 1960s.

That’s 58 years of concerts.

Almost every year there is some rock concert somewhere.

and some politician knee jerking to drug problems around it.

Why cant they come up with ideas ?
