I have a list of all the words in Wikipedia. A bit too long to post here.
Purpose – developing a better spell checker.

The spellchecker I’m using in an Android app just autocorrected the word “add” to “bed”. It’s that bad. It also just autocorrected “bad” to “back”. I wish it’d let me replace it with my own spellchecker. And it also just autocorrected “let” to “metres”. Why do we let it get away with such absolute garbage?

It’s not spell checking though…it’s using predictive text.

bad fibre optic connection at the white box in your house

when i installed the NBN the first te i caught one character using a pair of scissors to cut the fibre optic fibre – sure it will work but when you don’t use proper cleavers it creates a bad connection (light wise), the final connection is tested by telstra but it will barely pass the test and presumably only gets worse – leading to slow speeds

if you are using cat 5/ 6 the people installing it might use cable ties or damage / knot the cable adding to slow speeds

the other god awfulpractice of the NBN installers was when we turned up at some granny’s house , the guy running the fibre optic cable inside was using an industrial stapler to attach the cable to the wood cornice in the room – to be honest , it looked terrible. when the cable is stapled to wood and fastens the cable down it pinches the cable and breaks it a little leading to slow speeds, you normally have to find the staple thats runied the connection if it doesn’t pass the speed test from telstra
