I’m looking at a few recipes for borscht that I’m thinking of doing during the week and I’m not sure which way to go..
Hot, beefy, red, Russian borscht is only to be served with copious amounts of beer; which is quite a distinction from the cold, vegetarian, pink Polish borscht, which is only to be served with copious amounts of beer.
It has me in a pickle.

I read that Owen was not expected to impact the Qld coast. Bummer. They could really use the rain.

Tropical Cyclone Owen appears to have dissipated: there’s very little cloud left at the centre of the low. Something appears to have sheared the top off it and smeared that cloud out to the east..
Our rain cloud is much bigger and stronger…
