in the age of quicken-the-idiot apparently there’s a plague of elderly loneliness.
and I hear ageism is rampant too, discrimination regards job opportunity, by employers.
so what to do.

Now that I’m advancing in age, I begin to understand ageism.
I’m approaching a stage where I’m “all talk and no action”, which is a problem for employers.
Age also gives deviousness, for example it helps me to hide my faults from others.
Which is why all popes are old.

that’s not a secret hope I drop dead soon, prematurely. It could be.
the thread’s about aging comfortably, the psychological comfort.
whether culture is still, in any sense, for the satisfaction of human nature, including elderly people.
do elderly people have a human nature?

I don’t have an answer. I’m bored out of my skull. Shopping for the week wipes me out physically for two whole days.
I’m not aging comfortably.
I haven’t managed going slow either. Huge effort for a short time, two to three days, a lot more than anybody half my age could manage, then weeks of inaction.
I don’t know whether elderly people … I’ve got more cynical as I get older and see more fads coming and going.
Perhaps coping with bodily breakdown becomes a full time occupation.
