Interesting mix of things I’ve used eg. 1, 6, 12, 14
Thinks I’ve heard about but never used, eg. 16, 17, 20
Things I wish I’d heard about, eg. 3, 4, 5, 7, 13
And
Things that haven’t a HIH of working, eg. 10, 11, 15

we used to do 15 in maths class as long as you held the pencil upright and taught it worked with a decent amount of accuracy note they used wire and not string

I’n‘t feel like getting a splinter just for this but next time I do, I’ll try this method.

All still useful advice. I’ve never done any of those things. I just type on a computer.

Awwww, dammit, I had a splinter yesterday. I could have tried this – Except that I dug it out with a splinter probe.

There’s a variety of devices around that claim to extract things from the skin using suction (venoms, infection, etc) – I have very low confidence that any of them work.

I feel that the last one is especially significant for these modern times.
