Well this one didn’t take off.
But yeah it’s something that needs looking at for the future, be a while before they’ll need it.
Cold gas propellant has been around since the beginning of spaceflight. Normally nitrogen or argon, but water will do in places where neither of these is easily available.
Ion drive typically uses xenon. But water will also do in a pinch.
