One of my pet grievances is people who burn tiny piles of leaves instead of composting them

It’s not because I don’t have any, but I think it’s because I got a really good night’s sleep last night, so I’ve been in a good mood all day :)

we got a blower vac for around the farm works good for cleaning the tractor and skidsteer out and around our house not good on our drive way u get rid of the gravel lol.

I can hack cleaning the machines with it, kind of like the dry air in cans for cleaning computers and parts…

My other pet hate is people who always collect the grass clippings instead of leaving some every now and then for recycling into the grass…

and I really hate people who take perfectly good grass clippings to the dump…one can recycle it at the green matter tip here but lots of people insist that it be dumped with the household rubbish…

Yep I sweep the driveway , once a week or so. Otherwise car tires skid on the leaves that get blown in.

This isn’t gardening, but I hate it when people just leave their shopping trolleys wherever and others can’t park…

Sometimes the trolley corral is a long way away or can’t even be found (!) so a car space becomes the unofficial trolley park: that’s not the problem…I’ve seen people just leave the trolleys in the carriageways…

Or they pile it up around the base of trees and shrubs. Council workers seem to be notorious for this. My son is a Council worker. He wouldn’t dare!

E you wouldn’t want to live here then can sweep the leaves and in 1/2 hour they are back—I just wait till it drives me mad and then put them on the garden—make good mulch

As far as butts go—yes take a screw top small jar—I hate it when they just throw or stub them out and leave them them there.

Hmm – I have mouse traps like that, but you don’t throw them away.. you let the mouse go (cough or otherwise dispose of it) and then set the trap up again.

I like the coastal solution, where you justl et the snakes eat the mice, but it doesn’t work everywhere.

Saw an absolutely gorgeous rattie in the backyard last night – now I know for sure that that’s what the dog has been chasing in the hibiscus tree.
