…that’s me. Human life entails vast potential, especially for our descendants who will command the full power of biotechnology and its interface with computer power.
But we lot missed out on that by a few generations. Maybe many generations.
And I missed out on most things. Very sheltered life, lots of imaginings, not much doings.
There comes a time when we accept our mortality, and it doesn’t frighten us at all. Too many intrusions, not enough enthusiasm to carry on.
I’m just one of the forgotten spawn and it’s unlikely I will leave anything of significance for the future, but I don’t mind.
“And if I die before I wake, it all becomes someone else’s problem” :)
