Ya see, I’ve got this tubeless tyre on a wheel, ya see. Tiz the tiny pivot wheel on the front of the zero turn.
Well, ya see, it keeps going flat. Pretty quick. let’s say, overnight.. Took me while to get the tyre to “grab” the wheel when pumping it up, but it does grab.
Then Ize dun dunk it in water, and then the soapy water test, and there’s fizzing bubbles right around the rim/tyre join.
Now you lot, and your wise wisdom.
Wadda I need to do to sort it.
Oh…. no leak in the actual tyre itself. Just around the rims.
Taa for asking.

Get some car tyre sealant or ‘slime’ I think it’s called, can go in through the valve thingy.

use to get a lot of flats on the ride-on, mostly front, lot of them were shards of blade going trough the walls. Tubes helped, + regular blade replacement. Was a lot better after five years of cleaning up, leveled the entire area, all the rocks gone too (tonnes), I could mow at maximum warp hard on the ground.

It’s all about getting the wheel and tyre mating surfaces really clean and smooth. The common enemies here are rust, dirt, flakey paint, and any other crap adhered to the internal edge of the wheel, or splits / cracks / damage to the tyre. Then slipping them together with pure soap & water, and holding them tight by putting enough air pressure in the tyre.
If that doesn’t work, your options are to fit a tube inside the wheel. You might also try to seal it with some kind of sealant goop (I wouldn’t).
As a low-speed, light-weight agricultural tyre, however, you also have the options of filling it with water, latex rubber, expanding foam, or there might be a solid rubber replacement.
Hope that helps.

Owner of said box put dry ice in it and used a CO2 meter outside to try and find the leak.
I thought a bit of bubble mixture in a spray bottle may be easier, but he said he didn’t want to get that near the gaskets.
With bit of luck, the problem is deflection of a too-thin plate. Also trying different types of sealing material.

Another way (this is how they detect leaks in swimming pools and aquariums) is to fill with water and work around the seals with a syringe full of food dye. When you release the dye near a leak, it’s very easy to see.

Had a tyre on our wheelbarrow that used to go flat. Did that a few times so I got fed-up with it and put in a new tube.
That also went flat.
Had a good look around the inside of the wheel for leaks and sharp points, only a few little protrusion that might have cut the tube, so I smoothed them off and fitted a new tube.
That also went flat.
So I fixed it properly by fitting a solid tyre. That one’s stayed up, but I still check it out of habit anyway.

Oh yeah, reminds me, I had the back wheel on the scooter made solid. A tyre place sent it away and it came back solid, it was expensive though, about 50 bucks for a small tyre.

Woodie, I use tubeless tyres on my bicycle. Before putting the tyre on I add about 50-70ml of tyre sealant (I’ve been using Spex sealant, but there are others.) That seals the tyre bead (and make it much harder to remove the tyre later, because the sealant glues the bead to the rim) and stops leaking. It also seals (small) punctures when they happen. You should be able to get some at a bike shop.

Figgzed dit.
Didn’t need no goo either. Twas flat again. So just wet cloth and cleaned round inside the rim and where the tyre grips the rim.
Pumped it up, and did the dunk it in the laundry trough test. No bubbles.
Also did the soapy water test around the rim on each side and left for 20 mins. No bubbles. :)
FIGJAM. :)
