I know that Macs have always had an application built into the system called Image Capture that can easily download the images off your iPhone or your iPad and that there is an app called Android to Mac which will do the same thing but for those who do gave iPhones and or iPads and use Windows computers, is there a similar application in the Windows system?

I use a different method. Not a direct method. I bought a USB adapter that allows me to attach a memory stick to an Android. Then I plug the memory stick into the windows computer.

Slow and clunky, but it doesn’t rely on dropbox or cloud or even wifi. Also helps if I run out of storage on Android tablet.

Don’t sue mollwollfumble if this doesn’t work for you.

Why not plug tablet straight into PC and treat it like any other drive?

Many seem to transfer quite slow even in USB 3.0 port, I’ve got a similar cord, allows me to plug drives/USB sticks into tablet

That’s the way I ended up doing it and it was basically an instant transfer of all the images on the iPad.
