Second hand for myopia must be worth a fortune, because they can’t be bought new for $5 like sunglasses and glasses for hyperopia.

My local op shop has some second hand glasses, almost all sunnies.

My older shop owner boss, used to collect everything from used postage stamps to old watches spectacles. Anything that he had somehow paid for and nobody had picked up or paid him for the service of, was sent to the Catholic Missions to deal with.
