Many moons ago you told me about a write (female) who writes a lot like Patricia Cornwall. Can you please let me know her name again….. thanks. Had a mind blank when we went for a walk today and called into our local library.

I’m not sure which one it was but try Kathy Reichs. The TV series “Bones” is based on her books.

Val McDermid’s characters are used in “Wire in the Blood”, but I find her a bit hit and miss.

Nicci French is one of my favourites too but it’s more thriller than forensic.

Jodi Picoult is wonderful and Alex Kava is definately worth a read.

If you can handle some serious gore John Conolly is the king, but try and read them in sequence and they’ll make more sense.

Jeffery Deaver, of course. I could go on.
