Cheap clothing is not environmentally friendly and should be banned, I’m talking about clothing that rubs, like $30 trackies

Some yelling is needed to manufactures that don’t give a fuck about the environment.

MAKE CLOTHING THAT LASTS LONGER !!!

Or a campaign will happen to change the laws!

This is a world wide problem with companies overseas making defective products from the beginning.

They look nice feel nice when you buy them then they start rubbing straight away with normal wear and washing.

This sort of clothing needs to replaced often rather then lasting three to five years

Sometimes they only lasts 3 months sometimes not even that.

The culprit is the polyester to cotton ratio with higher polyester ratios causing more rubbing etc or whatever else crappy chemicals they are using that easily degrades with normal use.

Grrr

Disagree. Clothing sold in Australia lasts forever.

Unless it’s handmade. Or socks.

Made in China.

With a ratio of 65 percent polyester to 35 percent cotton.

Which will cause the material to easily rub with normal use

Not environmentally friendly one bit.

You don’t shop at Kmart, do you?

Their clothing is made in Bangladesh, cheap, and starts falling apart the second time you wash it. Plus they pay the workers 15c/day, but that’s a different matter.

Just read the labels before you buy and buy something with the mix you prefer.

I Totally Agree!
I JUST received delivery of an E-Bay purchase
of a really pretty fashionably designed blouse, but
from the moment I took it out of the plastic mailing sleeve
I felt how flimsy the material felt, and upon examination saw
how poorly stitched all the hems and seams were from the outset.

I anticipate getting 2 possibly 3 wearings out of it before it’s a cleaning rag.

No. All my clothes come from Target and Big W.

It’s made from plastic, and plastic lasts forever, according to the blurb. If cheap clothing fell apart then there would be no such thing as op shops.

I always grow out of pants before they wear out. White business shirts just get dirtier and dirtier over the years. Tee shirts accumulate. I can’t buy new jeans that haven’t been artificially aged.

On the other hand, I’m talking Australia. Look how how fast the clothing has fallen apart on this chinese woman.

Either something’s wrong with the Weather Network’s system, or else we’re in for some very steady conditions for the next few days:
