The environment has many unexpected twists and turns.

What a jolly fellow. It’s always good to see the lighter side.

Mercury poisoning probably makes someone a better break dancer

Martin Walch once told us about taking a photography class to the confluence of the King and Queen rivers and within minutes he had sutdents with asthma puffing and he had students break out in skin conditions. He put it that the wilderness that was dangerous to man is increasingly the man made wilderness.

Anyway…during the recent fires I reckoned the smoke in Beijings. It peaked at 5 Beijings and it was as thick as thick fog. I could not see the bottom of the paddock or the top of the drive. It was mostly the Riveaux/Geeveston fire. With a bit of Central highlands depending on the wind. I don’t think I get the Queenstown fire smoke.

ROFL, PMSL.

Didn’t read the article this time. No need.

Mercury pollution is everywhere, if you look for it.

All the creeks and rivers of Melbourne, for starters. Every place i’ve worked. Where my father worked.

Chance of being hurt by mercury pollution in Australia. Zero.

Read the article before you comment. Nobody is saying the general public are in danger, only the actions of a past era have returned and might cause local problems (one I would think is increased water pollution, which is likely effect animals who need to drink it). The thing is you don’t know how these things will turn out.
