We lost Clancy, Roz in our ducks and Bonnie & Clyde our two silky bantams over night to a fox.

I should have had them lock away……but I didn’t.

All our original ducks are gone now.

Couple of the young ducks look like they have been attacked.

I feel so awful about it……..if only

So trying not to cry.

Buried the bodies where we’re going to plant passion fruit vines this spring.

It’s odd, I was walking past 3 rotting fox corpses last week, and I thought “Lucky hasn’t mentioned foxes for a while”…

Oh Lucky, this is so sad…both Clancy and Banjo…nothing to say really except I feel for you right now…

:(

Bluddy ‘ell! That’s terrible Lucky. So they just killed them for the sake of killing, I assume? It’ll be hard for you knowing how much you love your gang.

So how many ducks are you left with now? I have such a soft spot for ducks. Like them better than chooks even. The only reason we don’t have some of our own is because we are away a lot.

Hope you catch it, Lucky. I’m an animal lover from way back but I’ve learned to hate foxes in Oz.
