cut hole fit lid and hinges
add a support frame
electric motor

It speeds up the process to mix it up a bit.

It speeds up the process to mix it up a bit.

rotating the drum
tumbles/stirs the contents
which re-distributes the moisture
and does away with the laborious process
of “turning” the compost to add oxygen (aerating)
to facilitate decomposition (as opposed to ROTTING…
…and opposed to COOKING) Compost is Made in the SHADE

If you go with Solar Power, Situate Just the COLLECTOR in the SUN.

I have a Compost Mate, a simple corkscrew device that takes 30 seconds to fluff up a compost heap. And it’s fun.
