Fact Checker had identified 10000 falsehoods made by President Trump since his inauguration.
On average this makes 12 per day but the average since he began running press gaggles himself rather than regular press briefings by press secretaries has been 22 per day.
Obviously all politicians lie, but the sheer volume of bullshit is a couple of orders of magnitude higher than previous presidents or contemporary politicians.
Obviously some falsehoods are more blatant than others, and Checker assigns 1 to 4 Pinocchios. Additionally they have created a category called The Bottomless Pinocchio, granted when the speaker repeats a 3 or 4 Pinocchio lie more than 20 times, as this is taken as an indication that they are definitely continuing with a statement they must know is untrue. Trump has accumulated a couple of dozen separate Bottomless Pinocchio.
The biggest category is on the topic of immigration. Interestingly, they don’t count it when the same lie is repeated multiple times in the same speech. For instance if he repeated the same lie 4 times in the same rally, that would only count as 1. Given his repetitivity, including these multiple lies would increase the count a lot.
