Ok all you brave (or bored) souls – I have finally got my favourite pics onto PhotoBucket :)

http://s113.photobucket.com/albums/n221/b_o_n_0_0_7/UK2009/

They’re in separate albums according to which stage of the trip we were at, so if you go to this page you need to select a sub-album (Chichester, Bath, PandPTour, Ireland, LakeDistrict, PeakDistrict, Wales) from the list on the left-hand side.

I put a few garden snaps in there for you guys, but mostly kitchen gardens.

:)

Have only looked at the Bath photos so far, but they are lovely and I am extremely jealous. How did your health hold out while you gone Bon?

Bear in mind those are only the best photos.. I didn’t put up all the ones when it was pouring with rain grin

Pretty well, actually – a few hiccups at the start (although I think that’s fairly common for anyone travelling – have to get used to the new environment), but for the most part my stomach was OK. I actually gained a whole lot of extra energy and stamina over the course of the holiday from all the walking, so that was really satisfying :)

Cool. I think you must have been standing on a box or something in some of those photos; you look almost as tall as Mr Bon! LOL

ROFL – must be a trick of perspective or something :) I did stand a couple of stairs above him sometimes :D

The Big View shot is impressive, although the weather looked a tad fresh!

Yep.. we started off in the south of England with a week of quite hot weather (mid-high 20s.. enough to get the poms crying HEATWAVE!!! and putting warnings on the telly), then as soon as we headed north we hit the rain, and the rain stayed with us right ‘til the end. I didn’t mind it though because at least I didn’t have to worry about getting burnt :)

Ireland was a bit nippy though, I was rugged up in 4 layers almost the whole time.

Mr Bon and I have to work out how to utilise the GPS tags on the photos so that we can stick them on Google Maps or something. Unfortunately we only worked out how to enabled the feature halfway through the holiday, but most of the photos in the Lake & Peak districts & Wales are GPS tagged.

It’s a pity we didn’t get it worked out in Ireland, as those are the photos where we’re least sure of where we took them.

I try PM. Very amateurish though. Find good scenes to do is a big part of it .

Only acrylics. I’m a late bloomer so to speak.

Maybe one day, if I ever do any that I’m proud of, I might put it up on here for fun.

Nice one… GF sold a few paintings in PNG just before we returned… but she had great images to use, mainly portraits and the like.
