I’ve started adding explanations to the Good Scientist Cartoons.
Does that make them better (more understandable) or worse (less funny)?

I still say that mouseover is more subtle:
I thought of a cartoon character last night, Dr Mengele, the first part of the cartoon would have him railing against the presumption that he was unsuited to be a doctor due to his ancestor, sins of the father and all that, the last panel however would show some very ambiguous patient notes.

I can see Trump becoming a cartoon character.
I can also see him as a bond villain.

Bond villains are normally portrayed as smart, usually too smart for their own good…

I agree (and I had no idea that mouseovers were so easy).
As for the do they help question, sometimes.
For those that depend on a single not very well known fact (or should that be “fact”), they help.
For those of a more general philosophical nature, better leave them ambiguous.

Perhaps just thinking they are too smart for their own good is good enough.

Can i do that? Eg here, facebook, pinterest?
I’m reading this on a computer with no mouse.
Here, yes. The others, I don’t know.
On an android device, using chrome, to see mouseover text you long press. I do not know about other systems/browsers…
