Wow.. it’s gorgeous :)

Grumble grumble. My stupid suburb doesn’t do kerbside collections – instead you can call them up and they’ll organise for a skip bin to be delivered to you. What’s the good in that?! It’s so much harder to spot good stuff in a skip!

Cool, sounds like an interesting project!!

I always get as far as collecting the kerbside junk for my project.. and then I stall :( So I have odd bits of junk lying around everywhere that just end up looking weird.

Crikey VG, you would pickup a few stuffed bar fridges and old screen doors easily at a visit to a recycler centre or building demolition place etc.

We are told strictly no scavenging of kerbside collections.. Hey they guys they get to come and take this stuff away have to make their money too. Have seen copper bandits do whole suburbs out of their copper bearing cables connected to all appliances.

It gets tossed to a compactor type truck here, so if it’s not scavenged first it’s a gone for good..

Well I scavenge everything first. ;)
They came and picked it all up here tossing it in a large trailer. A genuine recycling company had the pick up job.
