i may buy some seeds of them they gonna be good and nice and big
Hi Veg Gardener,
I grew some Atlantic Giant Pumpkins a couple of years ago, and still have some of the seeds, harvested in May 05 according to my packet. I didn’t mark the ground where I’d planted the seeds, though, so when they popped up I didn’t realise what was growing. I ended up with 3 big ‘uns, well comparatively small actually, they were all around the 25kg mark. Painmaster managed to see them with his very own eyes, lucky chap, when he was driving through on his way from Adelaide to Townsville. I have squillions of seeds, so if you want some let me know. (If you buy them, you’ll only get 5 or 6 seeds in a packet, worked out 50c per seed when I bought mine.)
The only thing I’ll warn you is that because there were other pumpkins growing nearby, they may have cross-pollinated and not grow as huge as possible. But if you want to try some, I’ll happily send them to you. They should still germinate, pumpkin seeds are pretty hardy. If you email Lucky, she can forward the email to me and we can organise the details directly.
Yeehah
