I managed to get a Goanna skin to fit my PNG Drum… how do I soften it to then form over the drum and then tie it off? My current skin is a bit stiff and tight…???

Hi PM I would dampen the skin until its pliable then strech it over the drum. As it dries it will tighten up nicely.

Yep we are coming by stealth 1 day ewe will wake and there we are lol

well I’m lazy, but I have finally wet my skin using nice and warm water, it softened it up real sweet. I then was able to get it to mold to the drum and with a bit of innertube, it’s tied off and after an hour or two in the sun drying up, it is now toight like a toiger….

Cool, one Kundu drum to call out some beats!
