trying the latest version of itunes, but have tried earlier versions too to see if they will work. Keep coming up with a message saying that there is a program it can’t run and then it seems to continue to install but then it won’t run. On some attempts the DEP shuts down windows installer.

Vista is 32 bit Service Pack 2

May I ask a question too?
I’m looking for a photo manager prog so I can upload from my camera pics to the PC. I used Image Zone v 4.8.5 previously on my HP(Hewlett Packard) PC and loved it’s ease of use, but it will not install on my Athlon PC . It’s asking for an HP DlLL file. Is there an equivalent of this prog’ I can download from the net ? ? I can find many but don’t know whats good and whats crap.
Hoping yous can help :)

Sounds like it only half installed then coughed. That’s a technical description..

Suggest you uninstall it and try again. But download itunes again first in case it was corrupted the first go.

yeah, we have done all that multiple times. Seems to be a problem with Vista compatibility I gather from stuff I’ve read on the web. Some people have been able to get it to run but others haven’t. Tried all the suggestions given but no joy :(

We have downloaded it onto the Eee which has XP, but is not a satisfactory solution.

(Mr BG has bought himself an iPhone, so I have inherited his old iPod.)

Thanks Collie!
They are both good. I’ll use picassa :)

I do miss my old prog ,so reinstalled it on the H.Packard pc (now hubbys pc) and will upload on that one then share folder.. easy way around the prob until I get a new pc. I would base my choice of new computor on this imaging prog, so a HP it will be, when that hapens.
