I mix my own from pure vegetable glycerin, pure propylene glycol and a relatively small admixture (about 30%) flavoured 18mg nicotine juice (from New Zealand).

In contrast, my second-to-youngest sister has just been told that on top of her debilitating emphysema, her heart is now dangerously enlarged due to her smoking. She’s finally ditched her 50 cigarettes a day habit and taken up nicotine patches. We’re all hoping it’s not too late.

Neither glycerin nor propylene glycol are harmless when inhaled.

I wonder what is actually harmless when inhaled in those quantities. Water of course, provided the dose is not excessive.

According to a recent TV program, one cigarette does as much damage as sitting for two hours. Not sure i believe that.

They are heated and turned into vapour, not burned.
