OK, you can get away with ‘le Deuxième Test’, as a bit of colloquial language. ‘Deuxième’ is one of those non-gender-specific French words, and ‘test’ does exist in French as a masculine noun, so ‘le Deuxième Test’ is acceptable. Sort of.

However, the French for ‘test’ is also ‘épreuve’, which is definitely feminine, so the ‘proper’ French is ‘la deuxième épreuve’.

You can see why i like French: you can argue about it all day long.

If it is a close finish where either side can win on the last day it is good cricket. One-sided thrashings are much good to watch unless you are particularly barracking for the winning side.
