Should all products have a 5 star environmental rating alongside the 5 star energy rating system.

Clothing
Cars, bikes trucks, planes
Homes, business properties.
White goods
Computers and IT

Cheap stuff that falls apart would have a low rating and products that fall below 1 star should be banned.

How big do you want the labels to be?
The companies want everyone to wear their brand advertising.
The way to do it would be to name and shame the brands publicly and maybe some would not want to wear the brand name so proudly.
When in reality everyone displaying a brand name should be paid for advertising.

Not all star ratings are useful.

I did a star rating of star rating schemes for Good Scientist Cartoon recently. Let’s see if I can find it. Star rating schemes that only score 1 star on the “star rating of star ratings” should be banned.
