Hi everyone I am finally back on line. Hubby bought me a lap top and it has taken a while for me to get organised. It has windows 7 and so I have been arguing with telstra as they don’t support it yet. Have a new server now $10 a month cheaper and twice as many gigglebites down load.
How are you all well I hope

So long as you have a separate connection device (DSL router or wireless device like one of these from HERE you’ll be fine. No drivers needed, only ethernet (blue network cable) or normal laptop wireless as applicable.

BigPond Elite™ Network Gateway
If ADSL or Cable aren’t available to you, the BigPond Elite™ Network Gateway is a great alternative solution if you want to create a wireless network around your home. Now everyone can be online at the same time from almost anywhere in a typical home3. Just plug it into a power point, follow the simple set-up process and enjoy fast typical download speeds of 550kbps to 8Mbps in all capitals and selected regional areas2. Actual download speeds will be shared between users. Because it runs on the Next G™ network, it doesn’t need a fixed cable connection and if speed is important to you, this is our fastest wireless broadband Network Gateway option.

7.2 Home Network Gateway
The Wireless Broadband 7.2 Home Network Gateway2 is another option if you want to create a wireless network around your home3. It also connects to a regular power point and creates a network around your home, without the messy wires. Access music and catch up on emails from the living room or the bedroom, with typical download speeds of 550kbps to 3Mbps1.

I AM TOLD THAT WINDOWS 7 HAS A COMPATABILITY MODE TO USE XP DRIVERS, IF YOU ARE USING A USB DEVICE..
