Howdee folks, just thoughht I’d throw this one in and maybe someone’s seen what I’m after.

I’m after a largeish pot…one without a drainage hole, suitable for growing aquatic edibles and a watering hole for the frogs I keep digging up in my patch.
I’ve seen a couple at one nursery, but very expensive and wondered if there’s any other places I could try?

might be cheaper to buy one with a drainage hole and plug it up with silicone or something.

Hmm.. Nah, I can’t think of anywhere especially good, just the usual sort of big pots places:

Pots R Us
Soils Aint Soils?
And maybe try some or the places that do ponds as well..

Yeah thought of that… it might be the go if I can’t get a ‘water bowl’ at a reasonable price.
It’s Mr M’s birthday pressie to me so I thought I would be allowed to be a bit picky…

Sounds good Collie… just might be a bit big for the space I have.

I’ve had mine for a very long time, as long as I can remember.

I’m happy with it’s service too except if it gets me up in the night if I’ve had too much to drink close to ni ni time.

What about a clam shell? Kmart $30-ish
One half as a paddling pool for the dogs, sink the other half into the ground as a frog pond.

I think I just decided to take my own advice, LOL!

Whatever you choose, just remember to lean a branch in it for the frogs to climb out.

I like that idea too but again it’ll be too big for the space I have. Yep thanks… have already thought about the ins & out’s for the froggies
