Well if you can now grow rhubarb, I wonder if there’s any hope for me with staghorns and elkhorns then…so far I’ve killed every one that I’ve had sole custody of. :(

Over the day….if there isn’t a huge amount of shells, they eat it all. This time there was some empty heads….mind you , there was heaps this time.

This is slightly sideways but two of my tropical fish (my clown loaches) date back from before I met my ex, makes them over 9 years old! Pretty good innings for fish.

This evening while the BBQ is working on our food, I will be sowing 3 packets of corn seeds and the other seedlings. At the moment I am sitting and resting my leg, watch my “24” DVD.

So far the leg has been okay. But I am pacing myself over the day.

Had a great day out the back….new seedlings are in. Area picked for tomorrow’s play. Mr. & Mrs. Almost Bimbo are over at 1 pm for a BBQ and a look see at the backyard…… Jim-Bob too busy……

Finished off with a BBQ and the little almost 2 year old girl from next door visiting and helping to feed the ducks:)

Evening….. I’m knackered……..

Went to the toyshop….again this morning and bought a regular broom, so I can sweep outside. I can’t use the elf’s big broom from his shed.

While there I bought some potting mix, finally going to transplant on my bay leaf tree into a big cement/plaster pot I picked up off the road about 18 months ago. Didn’t want to rush the job…..lol

Also picked up a NY gift for each of us……for the elf….black Nelli Kelly passion fruit vine and for me a papino vine. (think I spelt it right)

Then home to clean up the backyard.

The almost bimbo came over for a relaxing early NY BBQ. They have a music festival to go to on NY Day. They were really impressed with how tidy the yard is now.

Just went out to one area I want to turn over for more carrots beet root & radishes……… too hot still outside and my legs were shacking from so much over the last 2 days…..think I am getting soft in my old age.

So I will leave this till tomorrow morning.

Sitting here with the pedestal fan blowing on me as I am so hot.
