I read about this in Scientific American today. It was published back in October, but I don’t remember seeing anything hear about it.

Ages ago I read of a very old study where a horse learnt to drive a car.

> “I do believe that rats are smarter than most people perceive them to be, and that most animals are smarter, in unique ways, than we think,”

Or to put it another way, “I do believe that most humans are dumber than most people perceive them to be”, in relative terms.
