Okay this is my brew .. use it each week. 3L per 9L watering can

Start with a 20L bucket of tap H20 aerated for 24 hours.

Then add :
couple of good handful of worm castings *
some kelp about 1/2 cup**
nice bunch of alfalfa hay
can of black ‘n gold sardines
handful of rock dust
and last of a slurp of molasses.

  • feed then Bokashi compost
    • get it from the local stock feed outlet

Hey urban wombat,

Does that mean you feed your worms with bokashi-ed food scraps??

I bokashi and I’ve always wondered what worms would make of it. However my worm farm at home is only used for dog poop (I get non-poopy juice and castings from the two worm farms we have at work)

Yes that’s correct I do use bokashi scraps in the farm .

Also I add the odd handful of cow poo and once a week a good layer of shredded news paper and dolomite.. have found the bokashi can be quite acid.. the worm compost is near black in colour and just like bog peat.Col

uummm???
my guess is that only you aerates their compost tea. i take it you run the aquarium bubbler in it. i am interested in such results but i wonder – is the energy usage justified?

my pigeon poo is done by la authentique methode champignoise – it bubbles when you lift the lid. it must ferment in the bottle.

Yes I think so.

Roughbarked “aerate?”

I use a $20 aquarium pump with air stone.
