Happy new year to all!
Got some good news yesterday, I’m back working at the same place! Have nights Fri/Sat, but a full timer job is on the cards with one or two being transferred up north.. Possibly.
And the other job possibility is supposed to be have a 1000 man intake in the first week of Jan.. (That’s the place where a bloke who I used to work with – who is now a manager at one company at a HUGE expansion project – rang me 2 weeks ago telling me to make sure my application was in..)
Nice way to start the new year.

I survived lol!
what fun we had..dancing in the rain with friends on the shoreline, and man that cool change was so spectacular!!, eating too much, being in a spa with floaties on, and recieving beautiful messages from my kids at midnight.

So who came up in better condition than Harley.??? Poor bugger looks hung over…. must have been the late night and too many cat biscuits….Poor boy partied hard last night.

we had a lovely dinner. Thee made some vietnamese prawn rolls in rice paper and cooked up some spring rolls, and cookled some beef, chicken and seafood kebabs on the BBQ, plus a salad and dips. I made a potato salad and some won ton style dumplings.
We were stuffed!!

Roast pork, chicken and boob of turkey is all cooked , just waiting on the spuds…so meat is resting.
Bread is just been pulled out of the B maker.
Apple sauce is made…..
vegies about to go in the microwave.
Pudding is set to be nuked too.

Our family has left we’ve cleared the debris and we’re pooped. As usual I over – catered, I try not to but it just happens. Doggy bag anyone?
The rhubarb crumble I made from our garden was yummo, I’m glad it’s not all gone! LOLI don’t think I’ll have to cook for a few days YAY!!
