“humans are social animals, and we engage in social interactions using technology today, just like we used to engage in social interactions using older technology in the old days”
… boring

Whether it’s news or not, I think more discussion of gene-meme interaction is a good thing.

In fact there was a discussion on the very subject on the news this morning or was it yesterday? Anyway, I recognise the subject.

Was having a discussion with a friend on phone this eve. I think the discussion started with volcanoes having buried axes dropped in the rush to beat the ash fall. Anyway it came around to aborigines stitching wounds with the heads broken off Bull Ants to clamp cuts together like stiches do. I put forward thta they’d have to not only worked out that stitches mighht work and thta pulling the heads off bull ants too might work but how to get adequate supplies of bull ants without suffering the soldiers stings?
I reckoned that if they were smart enough to work out the above by sharing information then some bright spark may have dug into a nest from the side or summat?

humans, as social creatures, limit there sociability, a necessary aspect of being social for humans, this includes limiting with who, when and where, and the character of interactions, the substance even, discerning creatures they are
describing interactions is often done of what can be seen, what can be observed, which lends to what ought be straightforward descriptions and explanations, but consider for a moment what isn’t observed, the interactions that were not had, avoided for example
