Did dark energy cause the Big Bang?

As far as cosmologists can tell, the mysterious force behind the accelerated expansion of the universe, a force that we call dark energy, remains constant.

did à phenomenon we haven’t characterised well yet, cause a process that probably arose from an as yet poorly characterised phenomenon ¿

probably

Could an explosion within the universe be bigger than the big bang?

the BB wasn’t an explosion.

ok Ill rephrase it

Could an event in the universe be larger than the big bang?

I wouldn’t think so as all the original energy released in the big bang is spread out
They do talk about brane theory were two universes can touch and create a new universe

just wondering, the universe is expanding, is it expanding from a point or expanding some other way?

if it is expanding from a point in space, then why not every other point in space ?

It seems the early universe had layers in it, like stars have.

How can dark energy be a constant when its getting faster?

But these layers are more spread out over time.

Gravity becomes weaker as everything moves further apart so dark energy can still stay the same ?

When astronomers look at distant galaxies to determine how fast they’re moving, it looks like they’re all moving away from us. Does that mean we’re at the center of the universe? Well, no. It turns out that every point in the universe sees itself as the center! You can show yourself why with this activity
