in planes, trains and buses people are breathing fairly much on the same level.
However air moves differently on planes than buses or trains because of pressurization, containment and air conditioning.
Is the air more dangerous on a plane?

The air inside an airliner is pressurised. Air is drawn from the rear of the plane and new air introduced to keep it fresh. The air inside the plane is replaced every few minutes, it is not the same air continuously recycled. The problem is that still may people breathe the same air, the people at the back of the plane are breathing in older air.
the bigger problem though is that people are sitting in very close proximity for house on end. Very much closer than normal.
In trains usually each carriage has it’s own aircon system, but the air ducts tend to me more evenly spaced so everyone get fresh air.

Meh.
It’s drier air that’s the problem. They did a study on it. Dry air makes you more susceptible.
no air cures everything

Less (in part) because the air is drier the evaporation is faster and the virus dies faster.
But.
On a plane you’re in the same seat for a long time. And spaces between seats is less. Any you’re more uncomfortable and therefore susceptible because of many factors.
Some of the air within a plane is recirculated by the air conditioning system and some is brought in from outside. I don’t think a virus could survive passage through the aircon system so the air coming out of the vents above your head would be virtually virus-free.
Standing on a packed train for a long time is probably the worst of all?
Solution simple..Dont get on an aircraft full of people.

I would take a mask.

Air on modern aircraft are so well filtered that they apparently trap all particles including virus.

There are no air filters between passengers.
A cough can travel further than a breath
A sneeze can travel further than a cough
Everyone’s air vapours hang around in the cabin for a while before being replenished
Planes are worse than ships for collecting an airborne virus.
imagine seeing everyone breathing out, coughing, sneezing

Well take that up with the Qantas people who broadcast it a couple of days ago.

They probably don’t want people to know that.
It might effect sales.
Google’s coronavirus information site is now live
Google has just launched a site with information and resources to understand the coronavirus outbreak. You can access it at google.com/covid19.

Doesn’t seem to matter with people who have already made up their minds.
