You’re being abandoned to your own tactics, while we await the Second Wave.
My advice: To stay safe, see if you can make those tactics even tighter than the lockdown regulations.
There are a lot more dead people to come.

Just think of it as added flu deaths, no one ever worried about those before. Covid affects mostly the old – 70+, so you should be fine.
Alcohol kills Corbyn-19 dead, kills it dead.
the government has been quite swift and effective with a temporary intervention, temporary in the sense of a (necessary) powerful intervention, to steer or give direction to what’s required, and all along the direction has been to devolve the responsibility and effective action down to the smallest element, being the individual and small groups, and upward from that, so that everyone might take it upon themselves to do the right thing
not an easy thing to do, given the direction required changes in the casual informal field of behaviors, an individuals operating space, personal space
fortunately the madness of the siege mentality doesn’t prevail overwhelmingly in Australian ideology, Australians apparently have maintained enough respect for government, and are practical enough to do what is required. That secret snobbery they distance themselves from their convict ancestry perhaps, and the egalitarianism of granting each other space, have served them well
everyone’s been grounded for quite a while now, an advanced lesson in social hygiene, of which apparently Australians already had some experience

If you tip the virus body into the alcohol, maybe. But not if you tip the alcohol into the body containing the virus, no.
guessing a GST increase would be needed later

It’s my contention that tipping the alcohol into the body is an effective prophylactic measure.
I offer my own case as evidence. I regularly introduce alcohol into my system, and have not developed the virus. I plan to continue this regime.

I get the feeling that it is like when someone on medication decides they don’t need medication any more because they feel fine…

So you want to tax Australian consumers indirectly?

Hard to think of any tariff war we could win, especially when BAC get into resources.

It’s wookster report
It’s estimated that Trump’s tariffs on Chinese imports have taxed US consumers so much that they have negated the tax cuts he so crows about.
You need to turn off the money tap of Chinese intelligence agencies into political parties

Yep. Bugger free trade with the whole world. We need to start organising a local trade bloc that we can join in. But not involving free movement of people.

US imports from China fell by about 7% in 2019. Some US companies were reportedly looking at shifting production to other countries like Vietnam or Mexico, but not many were thinking about shifting back to the USA.

What we need to do is establish a military alliance with the US and India to confront China. We could call it the triple entente.

India’s policy of the last 50 years has been to not become aligned with or allied with any other major power.
