Although rarely seen, pteropods are not in any sense rare. There are vast stretches of pelagic ocean floor covered in their remains.

Same reason slugs and snails can’t talk.
It’s just a little sea slug, similar to land slugs but living in the sea. And nicer looking :)

it is one of those mysteries that scientists haven’t been able to explain.
The brain of the sea angel is quite rudimentary, and speech is a higher function.
