From me to all of you. Don’t have anything planned for the day and that’s ok too. I’ve been out and done a heap of weeding before things heated up.

I have been guarding my baby stags every day while this heat continues. They are still under shade cloth. It’s been a blessing. We have lost a fair few cuttings of different bits and pieces because of the heat. Just can’t keep up with the hosing.

There is Bureau talk of some rain heading down this way as leftovers from the northern cyclones. I’m not saying nuttin.

Well I have a choice. The ironing, clean the bath or vacuuming. Choices! Choices!

Can you guess which I will opt for?

Enjoy your holiday and I hope someone, somewhere is having a BBQ.

My Aust Day bevvy got rudely inturrupted by a mayday call from my eldest girl..she had a houseful and all drinking wine, and grandson decides to climb the roof to throw water bombs at his friends..he slipped and cut his toe , nearly off, and I was summoned to take him to the hospital.
7 stiches later and he won’t be doing that ever again!

I sat for 2 hours and got so bored I sent happy Aust Day texts to everyone in my ph lol.

Necessary , even.. Well we didn’t have to do that, hubby just flicked the lights power off and the big lad drops the handset and screams. He’s afraid of the dark. Tomorrow the landline will be suspended, for outgoing calls, for a time.

Not possible PM. We would get bullied for the pin. The ‘reason’ we won’t be able to make calls will be because we haven’t paid the bill , not true but what GS will be told, therefore the blame is shifted from us and we can live in peace. His current obsession to ring his ‘cutter’ female friend has sent our home ph bill from $40 a month to $200 for this month. We have our mobiles back on us but on silent and hidden in deep pockets. It’s getting silly. The accomodation for the boy is marked as urgent, but still takes time.
