This is how we’re going to invade Mars.
It’s all very technical except for the water divining rods which will just be coat hangers.
A couple of our brave representatives will be there fairly soon.

Fuck Mars. how about we pick one town on Earth of a thousand residents and see if they can manage for a whole growing all their own food and recycling all their own waste, and generate all their own electricity.. If we can’t do this on Earth there is no hope of doing it on Mars.

Hey, dude, tone it down.

Mars is part of ‘The Programme’.

Getting all the deadwood like e.g. Trump onto the rockets, and telling them they’re going to set up the ‘ideal society’ there.

Once they’re beyond the Moon, we just turn off the radio comms, and enjoy our better world.

Don’t harsh the vibe, ok?

Thanks for that youtube. Very enlightening.

I’ll just get a bit of politics out of the way first.

“Boeing, if all goes well, manned spaceflight early next year” – that’s news to me.

“Dragon capsule limitation on time in low earth orbit due to oxygen in the upper atmosphere” – wasn’t expecting that.

“Next SpaceX manned flight to space August 21, 2020”.

“Soyuz flights cost $80 million per seat. New flights only $55 million per seat”. Hmm, a 30% price reduction from 50 years of development, not a huge improvement, that’s the problem with space.

“Axiom commercial space flights sending astronauts to the space station in 2021”.

(Taking a break from watching, 8 and a half minutes in).
