Analysis of Trump’s tweets reveals systematic diversion of the media

President Donald Trump’s controversial use of social media is widely known and theories abound about its ulterior motives. New research published today in Nature Communications claims to provide the first evidence-based analysis demonstrating the US President’s Twitter account has been routinely deployed to divert attention away from a topic potentially harmful to his reputation, in turn suppressing negative related media coverage.

Very interesting.

One thing I noticed, this

>>>This systematic diversion of attention away from a topic potentially damaging to him was shown to significantly reduce negative media coverage the next day.”

if journos were being manipulated like this, they should have known and should taken action but didn’t.

To be so outwitted by a fool.

Shakes head.

Well on the bright side, we know now, but things could have been very different if they had have known.

LOOK! IRRELEVANT!

Diversionary tactics are a time-worn tactic
therefore I blame the media for chasing every shiny object
more than I do the nefarious 400 lb bastid tweeting from his bed at 4:00AM.

Q: What does a hunter do with a birddog that chases rabbits?
A: He shots it and gets a birddog that holds a point on pheasants and quail.

I find it hard to accept that so many people sound like Trump when they open their mouths. What indeed posesses them? Does Trump have some demonic paranormal influence over them? Have they been hypnotized?

most people probably did and do, did way back, but let the madness play out, and now in the land of liberty adjustments are in progress, which is not an entirely bad thing, that things got so bad that proper adjustments could be made, it’s an organic aspect of the idea of liberty, and politics of

subject bullshit, what is believable of that generated by ones internal press agent, most normal adults develop substantial introspection, abstraction regard what drives them, of their motivations, but some don’t so much

fact is normal people spend a lot of time and energy with housekeeping tasks in their heads, just that takes up a lot of time and energy, not so much for some types of marginals though, they more give others headaches

i’d argue diversion of various sorts is a universal feature of humans, across the species, probably a universal feature of consciousness, which really brings the proposition back to what’s tolerated, and not tolerated, regard the self-aware aspects

I doubt a mind can function half effectively without diversions, it’s essential, functionally necessary
