I’ve got some flowers I’m not sure about. I’m happy for corrections/suggestions.

This is a Brachyscome, but I don’t know which one. (South West Victoria)

It seems that Helichrysums are now Coronidium? So I think this is C. scorpioides?

And this might be C. rutidolepsis. Or they may well be the same.

Hypericum japonicum (matted St John’s wort)?

And a Lomandra (longifolia, I think) being photobombed by a Microseris. The Microseris are appearing in many, many of the photos today.

This one is for PF, who helped me ID it a few weeks ago. If I’d waited for the Lobelia (Pratia) pedunculata to flower…things would have been easier. :)

What is the roundish leafed legume there?

It’s the Lobelia (previously known as Pratia).

Buffy to have any hope of identifying those daisies, a side on view and a section through the flower showing the pappus type (the older the flower the better).

We are planning to go back next week. I’ll see what I can find. For the moment I’m happy with Brachyscome and Coronidium but it might be nice to go further into the ID.

Sorry, it just looks like a common weed to me.

We have several native Brachyscomes for our area according to Corrick and Fuhrer. I think it’s likely to be one of the first two on this list. I’d go with the first probably from the look of the flower. Not sure about the leaves though. B. debilis, B. decipiens, B. goniocarpa, B. lineariloba, B. multifida, B. purpusilla, B. spathulata.

It isn’t B. gonicarpa.

The leaf shape is difficult. It doesn’t appear common. Good photos are difficult to find.
