I have found that regular use of cannabis suppresses recalling dreams.

Does this happen with other regular uses?

Yes we regularly use the toilet in the night, and hardly ever remember dreams.

Fair question, relatedly perhaps we’ve heard that benzodiazepine makes you sleep but you don’t get the cycles so it’s quite unnatural a pattern and not as restful (but maybe good for forgetting) we can’t confirm or refute this ourselves not having done it.

Well regular non-use of cannabis appears to suppress dream recollection in at least some people, so I think it might be hard to tell what was actually causing the suppression.
