Anbody remember that?

Well the threat now appears to be real.

>When a vast fishing armada appeared outside the Galapagos Marine Reserve in South America, the world was again reminded of China’s belligerent approach to fishing on the high seas.<
>
It isn’t only the sea, it is wild animals everywhere. They are all in high demand in China and those who buy and sell care not at all for whether the supply keeps providing. They care only about catering to demand.

China is now too big for its boots.

Your suggestion is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vault_(sculpture)

A reference: The Yellow Peril is a color-metaphor that represents East Asian peoples as an existential danger to the Western world… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_Peril

It has been revisited in the Covid thing https://theconversation.com/coronavirus-the-yellow-peril-revisited-134115

The real peril however was always the threat to the worlds ecosystems. The food vaults.
Simply an overpopulation issue.

I didn’t know it was only in the city square for a short time. I would have said it was there longer than that. It wasn’t very well liked by anyone I knew.

That is shocking and a blatant disregard for biodiversity and sustainability. I suppose it is just another nail in our coffin. Homo sapiens don’t deserve this planet.

Now I’ve got that song in my head:

They call me yellow peril,
Quite rightly
