Where black holes are white – yes.
In the dim distant past I used to believe that our universe was like that, that quasars were white holes.

Where stars are black – no.
Or, not with any laws of physics that I can think of at the moment.
I’ll give it some thought.

I’ll give it some thought.

OK. Stars could be black if:

• There’s an inverse relationship between pressure and density – ie. if Boyle’s law fails spectacularly. That actually has been proposed.
• If hydrogen fusion fails spectacularly – ie. if the binding energy of helium is negative. This ties in with the fine structure constant somehow.The universe would only contain hydrogen.
