It’s a Whitfieldia longifolia. New one for me.

Might also be called Whitfieldia elongata.
Here’s another one that I ID’d in a comp on another forum. I’d never heard of it before but it’s really interesting.

you must laugh at some of my piccies – very exotic flower spike there – and i’m glad you’ve cleared the way for veges – sorry to hear about the knackered body but that too will pass LOL.
