Subject: visiting Catatonia, a moment in a frozen world

you shut your eyes, further blank the light with your hands, there’s still noise flicker, life in the relative darkness, imagination at work in the background, which you have some influence over the vividness of, projections so. If you lost blood pressure even the noise would fade, a different sort of darkness

consider catatonia now, which I don’t really know anything of, haven’t experienced, but consider eyes-open-catatonia, a frozen world in some way, a somehow frozen inner world

if you were to visit Catatonia, what would be your ideal minimum feel-see to be locked in, for what could be eternity, if there wasn’t much sense of motion, or change, not much ‘feel’ about it. If you were confined to a narrow and shallow mental state, largely unchanging, eyes-open, what might you want in your surrounds

of course I can’t know such things, but it does make me want to run around outside like a child, seems to breathe life into me
