Photo bucket is down, so I have posted my sewing blog here, to show you the 2 garters I made for Amy to wear. As you know by now, Amy doesn’t do things in half measure……lol

She’s wearing 3 and its all explained on my blog post.

I’ll post photos here Sunday if all goes to plan…. photos of the elf will be emailed as he doesn’t want his face all over the internet.

Amy and the girls have headed up to the Barossa at about 2 pm SA time. They have a suite booked. We’ll join her tonight about 7 pm for a rehearsal and then a wedding party dinner meal across the road from the church.

Lutheran Church…very old……….. with a pipe organ planing no “here comes the bride”…. but traditional music…non of this popular wedding music like JPY’s “ Love is in the Air”

Catholic service about a 30 min service at 1 pm.

I’m so excited and so relaxed and sleeping like a baby at night…… not bad for someone who usually up half the night.

http://stitchselection.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-baby-is-now-bride.html

Anyway…not sure if I’ll get here tomorrow…….. so think of me & the elf in our glad rags….. I’ll be the yummy mummy next to the Rusty Crowe look alike ….looking very uncomfortable in his Italian made suit……lol. Family won’t know us….lol

Give Amy & Ben a thought and a prayer at 1 pm our time…….hey I get another son with no labour pains….yay

So exciting, Lucky!!! :)

I will be thinking of you all and I can’t wait to hear how it goes and see photos :)

Will you and the Elf be doing speeches at the reception? My mum was great, my dad did really well but kept tearing up which was setting me off!!

Oh well.. improvised speeches are usually better!

My favourite bit of my mum’s speech was when she said “now you all know that fashion isn’t really an important part of Bonnie’s life – but she scrubbed up pretty well tonight!” :D

The rest of the time she was just embarrassing me, but that was funny :D

Yep…..things are changing….lol

Back after the practice run……. I get to walk down the isle first and this will signal the man (Ken) to start playing the pipe organ and then the brides maids start down. Pretty cool huh????!!!!

Tea was ever so yummy afterwards…. its 11.30 pm and I’m off to bed….. tomorrow the day is mine……to do as I wish.

Arvo all,
Gee Percy scrubs up OK when he’s going to a wedding doesn’t he? LOL

Lucky you’ll all have a beautiful wedding to enjoy, even though there may surely be tears they’ll be for all the right reasons. I hope the weather Gods are kind to you for the big day too.

Thanks……………………………..

Biggest hiccup so far is Pa…not knowing whether to wear his suit from when he gets up at 6.30 in the morning…or change in the room where AMB is staying (villa 2 bedrooms)………………. I think its change up there….. at the moment…….

He’s about to have a shower and then off to bed for the night……… I hope….. sounds awful doesn’t it….. sigh:(
