I de-friended a few local Facepalm friends over it. I cannot be friends with someone that can accept Trump’s lack of morals and accountability.

Perhaps the good that comes out of it is it reveals the bigots, racists in public office and they can be put on a short leash or re-educated about the fact we are all humans and treat everyone decently.

half of everything works as well as it does because people mind their own business, are let to mind their own business, even the platforms that facilitate the opposite are doing that, behind the spew of shared content, the spew of social enthusiasm, some call sharing, and true it is that, sharing

People do need to mind their own business when it comes to things like others sexuality or lack of, who cares (as in it’s not your business not who cares as in not offering them protection from bullying). Please don’t pretend it offends your religion what is offensive is you telling them they are evil, sinners, etc. Each to their own

Yeah I find that part of it weird, social media for world leaders to dribble nonsense unrestrained almost.
I mean Trump, is he a drunk frat boy when he posts.

We can go back to the drone strikes of the Obama era i suppose ( then again killing an Iranian general was risky and provoked a response with a missile strike on an American base). Trump started his presidency with a bang – launching missiles over the heads of the Russian navy. This was the classic www3 scenario a middle eastern conflict where russia and America go head to head, his supporters were furious. After that he calmed down. Presumably Biden will provoke a conflict either at home or abroad. Few people believe the elections were secure in America – it was classic vote rigging.

In terms of the future going forward i don’t think America can be relied upon if they are falling apart.

I know things are different in Wookieworld but if all the local, state and federal officials tasked with electoral oversight, all the judges at state and federal level who have presided over judicial investigations, and all the politicians at local, state and federal office (besides some sycophants wanting to win over Trumpers to further their electoral ambitions), all of them both Democrat and Republican attest that the elections were free and fair then it must be one grand conspiracy indeed.

And why did they rig the presidential election and not the contests further down the ticket? It would be a lot simpler if the Democrats had rigged substantial majorities in the senate and the house let alone the state contests.

It’s hard to consider elections truly fair when there is massive differential voter suppression and gerrymandering, but (shrugs) those things are legal in the US and will continue to benefit the Republicans unless there are Constitutional amendments to outlaw them.

Bidet already fixed Rump’s mess on the day of his inauguration.

Apart from Rump’s cancelling of both nuclear arms treaties with Russia. Bidet missed that.

Now Bidet can create his own mess.

Well now, if Trump runs as an independent in 2024, or even launches his own party to contest the midterms in 2022, then it is possible the Repugnicans will be pretty much wiped out at all levels, and that will certainly make constitutional reform easier.

One of Mr Biden’s orders asks the Agriculture Department to consider adjusting the rules for food assistance, so that the Government could be obligated to provide more money to the hungry.

The order also tries to make it easier for people to claim direct payments from prior aid packages and other benefits.

Mr Biden’s second executive order would restore union bargaining rights revoked by the Trump administration, protect the civil service system, and promote a $US15 hourly minimum wage for all federal workers.
