I’ve searched the Collie news on google. Nothing nasty showed up that I could see.

There was someone from Collie on one of the other garden forums but I can’t remember which one and I can’t find them on a members search either.

Is this the news or the police reports? I sometimes check the Qld Police round-up if there’s a local accident…it doesn’t always make it to the news…

Rang Grassy…. got her answering machine. So I left a message asking to call me back and why.

Iḿ OK, but haven´t ran across a nurse (wearing the requisite suspenders etc..).. Might need to haunt hospitals or nurses parties to increase my chances there.

Just did – last week – a run of 11 × 12hr shifts in 12 days (2 days and 9 nights) and fell behind.. Was stuffed afterwards.

Had my computer apart yesterday/today too and need to recover all the stuff off the old hard drives.

Bike and mutt are still ok. Licence hasn´t taken the hit yet either (rubs wood, rabbits foot etc)..

Haaa….. good to hear no drama’s your way. Get used to it Collie when you ride, you tend to worry loved ones. I have worried about my other half for over twenty years now. Comes with the territory unfortunately. Can’t count how many times I’ve come home hysterical after seeing a bike accident.

These days I try to stay calm….and really appreciate modern inventions like the mobile phone.

You’re gonna have to cut down those hours you know, if you wanna meet one of those cute nurses :)

Too many hours means sleeping while driving.
Sleeping while driving means a ride in a big white taxi.
Big white taxi takes me to nurses. Win!

I woke as I hit the rumble strip on the side of the road. I wrenched the wheel right, corrected and the car slid sideways – at 100km/h..

Car stopped, nothing hit. That could have ended badly.

Been there…it was the change in road noise vibrating on my hearing aid that snapped me out of it..I swear my eyes were wide open but apparently they weren’t…

Glad all turned out fine with Collie—I was away myself—

Oh we were all very relieved to see him sign in…he is working such long hours…
