Well didn’t we just have a scare today:(

Got a phone call from the people Pa flew with. His daughter wasn’t there to collect him and he was getting confused….. so they rang us as they couldn’t get daughter on her mobile phone….

Long story short……a truck caused a hold up in a tunnel and what was meant to be about a 40 min trip became 2 hours:(

She was hysterical once she finally got to Pa and he had to calm her down. We have spoken to Pa and all is okay now.

As we couldn’t get sister on her phone… and was told there was an accident…. you can imagine what was going through our heads.

Also Elf saw a woman’s body on the side of the road on the way home (not far from our place) …..news report said she was laying on the road and was hit my a car…..:( Police were there when he went past…. so he was a tad on the worked up side when we got the phone call from the airlines….. we were in the stupidmarket getting milk…… hence to say we forgot the milk as we came home to wait for a call from BIL as he was home in bed crook with the flu.

I rang BIL in case daughter had left her phone home.

The married Bimbos rang on the ship…… heading out of Sydney in the dark…….

The airport staff seemed to have handled it very well in that “Pa” didn’t become unduly distressed…

Just as well you’re going back into your garden I think: you need the “dirt therapy” as I call it…

Slow deep breaths, strong coffee, a loved ones hand to grasp and a promise not to worry until there is something to worry about. (meaning don’t assume the worst)

Planted out my broccoli and cauli this morning….. getting a bit warm in the sun.

Having the BBQ for lunch today, that was meant for yesterday.

Going to go and pull a few weeds and cut up some bitter cucumbers off the old vine and feed to the chooks. Harvest some more beans too….

I have some beans in pods on my climbing beans that have dried out. I have no other beans in my garden (not sure about neighbours) would they be true 100% Blue Lakes???? I’d like to keep some for next season if they are.

Yes and I hope I keep it up once its all planted and not neglect them.

I’m in the sewing room this evening….. spreading myself out over the day……

I am feeling edgy and not myself though…. I’m thinking its due to things getting back to normal. Not sure whether we’ll go into the market in the city after sewing tomorrow or leave it till Thursday…… Just all over the place and jumpy……

edgy can be good. a big break from routine (like in the wedding) can leave you feeling as tho’ there is much work to do. you’ve been so busy you don’t know how to slow down – probably?
well done on the garden.
